I hate cold weather but enjoy the struggle of being out in it. It asks you to prepare yourself or be miserable (or if you’re like me, you’re miserable even when prepared). I especially enjoy getting out and taking photos in the cold, and why is that? Do I enjoy being miserable? I’m no Freud, but winter sure is a great time to get out and get good pictures…

It’s New Years Eve! Cold night for an important celebration, which is why all the people in the Watters Creek area are either in their apartment (like me) or crammed into the Lion and Crown. Not much else to say other than Happy New Year!

Night shooting is always so serene and fun; no having to worry about people popping into shots, and it’s so quiet where I live at.

Gotta love the way the sun hits on the buildings in the area I live, the entire area is so photogenic it’s really hard to take a bad picture.
